Alignment is critical so employees all know their roles, their timelines and what they are expected to deliver.The actions in this phase address strategies, processes and culture, and are customized based on findings in the diagnosis phase.

This facilitated alignment process helps groups establish an environment of trust, generate new ideas for addressing issues, develop clear priorities, evaluate potential solutions, and build or sustain a high level of accountability to results.

 

Training and Development processes are aligned with strategic goals and gaps. Skills assessments and customized content are included. Major areas covered include:

  • Leadership - How people feel about coming to work, i.e. their attitude, is primarily influenced by the climate or culture in which they work. Many leaders don’t understand it is their behavior that creates the climate in which their team members work and climate or culture has a direct impact on results.
  • Trust - Merely being trustworthy does not guarantee that a leader is building trust. Leaders must work to build and maintain the trust of team members to gain their full engagement and commitment.
  • Skills & Behavior - Change takes time. Only a process of development, a series of events with application and reinforcement, can be expected to achieve lasting change in leadership behavior.

This process, completed in live, online/blended, and/or individual coaching sessions, helps leaders understand they are accountable for the environment they create, and whether that environment is based on trust, or a lack of it. The process provides them with the knowledge, skills, and applications that they need to create a work environment based on trust, effectiveness and personal responsibility; a place where people want to be accountable for their performance.
